Five Finalists selected in The Faction Skis 09 Design Contest

After an amazing outpouring of support from their friends and families, five finalists have shone through the mist of the long voting process. The design contest was based on a theme of “Urban Jungle” in designing a limited edition topsheet for a model of the 09/10 Kennedy, Faction’s newest freestyle/pipe specific ski. Contestants were asked to submit, any form of visual artwork onto a template of a topsheet, in an electronic format. Faction reserves the right to place and use, both the Faction icon and logo in whichever way fits but the design remains the copyright and property of the artist. The winner will receive $500 cash, a pair of the limited edition ski and of course all the recognition. The finalists are…........

The voting was so close between these designers that Faction would like to put their designs out for one more round of voting to help choose the ultimate winner!! The design house at Faction Skis would like to send a special shout out to these two artists, Carson Shoellkopf and Scott Tronnes who, unfortunately did not generate enough votes for the final, but who obviously put alot of work into their designs. Their intricate shapes, dimensions, and color schemes represent the kind vision and creativity which The Faction Collective aims to encompass. Keep on doing what you do, we hope to provide you with new and fresh chances to show your work in the future…..
