Monashee Powder Cats with the Vernon Crew

Monashee Powder Cats with the Vernon Crew

It’s no secret that Interior British Columbia is known for its bottomless powder, unbelievable terrain and world-class cat operations. It’s no wonder why a crew from the town of Vernon, BC — a group of guys that have grown up with each other — chose to take a small trip to the Monashee Powder Snowcats operation. No sponsors, no film crews, no obligations. Something of a rarity for the amount of talented personalities included in the trip. TJ Schiller, Josh Bibby, Ian Cosco, Riley Leboe, Joe Schuster, Justin Dorey, Fergie Cancade and Josh Dueck took the one time of year they had free, the holidays, to come together and ride with one objective: Have a damn good time.

For four days, the fine folks at Monashee Powder Snowcats took us in, guided us to some killer terrain and showed us the goods, while the BC snow gods dumping centimeter after centimeter of snow on the tenure. Included are some B-roll and outtakes from the trip, but be sure to check out Volume 13 of Freeskier Magazine for the full story and hammer shots. Until then, enjoy these photos.
