The outer shell and liner on this mitt work in tandem, much like a jacket shell and mid-layer. The seam-taped, three-layer Gore-Tex shell and 100-percent recycled nylon face fabric stand up to the most brutal winter conditions, while the liner can be pulled out and worn separately, giving backcountry skiers a breathable option on the skin track. 

The removable liner uses both PrimaLoft insulation and ultra-light fleece that provides a high warmth-to-weight ratio and great moisture management. When you need added protection, the liner slips back into the outer shell and is secured with Velcro straps, while a gasketed undercuff design keeps the glove secure and creates a barrier against snow and wind.
