Kore 99 Ti W | 2027

Last year, Head updated the shapes, rocker profiles, core constructions and flex profiles of the Kore series. Those updates brought unrelenting all-mountain performance and returned unchanged for 2027. Going the opposite direction of many other brands, Head decided to beef up the collection, making it quite appealing to demanding riders. The women-specific Kore models feature a combination core of poplar and recycled polyethylene for an impressive strength-to-weight ratio that's heavier than the old Kore 97 W but still light enough to save precious energy on those longer days. As the name suggests, the Kore 99 TI W also features two layers of Titanal for better stability at speed and a quieter ride in the crud.

While testing in Jackson Hole, we found that the 99 TI W thrives parking arcs, whether that's on firm morning groomers off Jackson Hole's Teton lift, or softened afternoon chunder under the Sublette chair. Not only is it easy to initiate turns on this ski, but it also holds its line effortlessly while blasting through variable conditions with composure. Ridden by former Freeride World Tour champions Jess Hotter and Hedvig Wessel, the women's Kore series is designed for those hungry to ski faster, send bigger and have a little more fun than everyone else on the mountain. It's a stiff freeride plank for the ladies who are always seeking out the fall line.
