Unleashed 106CA | 2027

Brand new to the Nordica family, the Unleashed 106 and the carbon-only 106 CA replace the old 108, and carry the same shape and personality as its wider sibling, the 120, in a more approachable width. While the Unleashed 98 and 114 run closer to a true twin tip with longer effective edges, the 106 and 120 sport a more directional shape with significant taper in the tip and tails. This enables the ski to excel in both laying down arcs on groomers as well as surfing, poping and smearing on every feature off piste.

At 106 mm underfoot, the ski handles fresh snow and tracked-out conditions with equal ease. It feels stable as it moves through chopped-up snow, maintaining a surfy feel while still providing enough stability to stay in control. Despite its width, the ski remains surprisingly agile. It's easy to pivot and release from turns, making bumps, trees and quick mid-line adjustments attainable. A soft tip and tail allow you to slash, smear and adjust on the fly with minimal effort. Those same attributes also make the Unleashed 106 CA easy to pop, giving you free rein to butter and nollie over rollers and natural features.

A great ski for someone who often finds themselves in soft snow and prefers maneuverability over raw power, the 106 CA is an excellent addition to Nordica's freeride line. And because there is no metal in the CA version, it pairs well with a pin or hybrid binding, like CAST, for a really fun backcountry setup.
