Boots Unisex

Scarpa built the 4-Quattro Pro for skiers who earn their turns but ski them like they rode a chairlift. At 1550 grams per boot, with a 130-plus flex and a 100-mm last, it sits in the narrow slice of the hybrid category where touring weight and real downhill authority overlap.

The shell is Pebax Rnew, a castor-oil-based plastic that stays lively in the cold instead of turning brittle on early-morning missions. Scarpa builds a carbon core into it for torsional and longitudinal stiffness, then runs a taller, thicker Pebax overlap cuff up the leg. That cuff is where the boot earns its keep. Drive into the front of it and the response comes back immediately, without the hollow, planky feel light plastic can sometimes deliver.

Walk mode runs off the SpeedLock 4 lever on the spine and opens 60 degrees of range on the skin track or bootpack. Flip it closed and it locks up cleanly at the top of the cuff. Forward lean sits at 19 degrees, with two and four degree adjustments if you want to stand a little taller.

Inside is a heat-moldable Intuition 4 Pro Flex Ride liner built around a plastic tongue that speeds energy transmission and cuts down on shin bang. A Booster strap comes stock and the outsole plays well with GripWalk alpine, AT and tech bindings. For advanced and expert freeriders hunting one boot for the skin track and the tram line, the 4-Quattro Pro makes a strong case.
