Skis All Mountain - Charger Unisex

A direct replacement for Armada’s now-discontinued Declivity 102, the Antimatter 100 blends the directional prowess of the previous generation and the freestyle identity Armada has been cultivating for years. The result is a ski that speaks to today’s freerider while still filling the directional slot in the brand’s extensive line-up of skis.

Underneath the top sheet lies a combination of wood and what Armada calls Speedmetal. Instead of placing a full sheet of metal on top of the wood, like many other skis out there, the metal sheet has been cut and shaped to keep the ski damp underfoot and lively in the tip. The core feels powerful, not dead or glued to the snow.

Complementing the core is a shape and profile that immediately grabs attention. When you put the base of the skis together, you can clearly see the rocker-camber-rocker profile. Armada employs a semi-flat tail, camber under foot and a rockered shovel tip. Anchor into turns thanks to the stout tail and camber, while still being able to float in deeper snow and pop off the nearest feature.

Pick up the new Antimatter 100 if you crave a ski that feels precise and strong, but not overbearing. It possesses a fun, loose and almost surfy feel, compared to most directional skis. A blast in the park and pow alike, Armada found its new winning formula.
