Its construction is refreshingly simple, relying primarily on a wood and fiberglass core. That core has been tapered to create softer tips that are easy to engage and contribute to the ski's intuitive personality. Through the back two-thirds of the ski, the flex becomes more supportive. This provides enough backbone to inspire confidence while remaining easy to flex and manipulate in technical terrain.

While this type of construction is common among twin tips, the Atris takes that formula in a more directional route. The recommended mount point is 8 cm behind true center, encouraging skiers to finish turns rather than pivot out of them halfway through.
