For many skiers, knee protection is of utmost importance, and the KXV thermal baselayer is a low-profile way to protect your knees from the rigors of skiing. The foundation of the KXV is a thermal compression material named StabiLuxe™ Lite that provides compression on the entire leg and keeps you warm. Lining the hips, IT Band and surrounding the knee is a 1.5mm perforated piece of medical grade neoprene. Neoprene has energy-absorbing and elastic properties, reducing joint vibration and providing support during rotation. Encasing the neoprene is a layer of compression mesh further reducing swelling and fatigue from the high-stress mechanisms of skiing.
