Featuring massive upgrades from its previous generation, the brand new Carv 2 utilizes a refined design to seamlessly fit every boot and analyzes your skiing in all terrain. With the prior version of Carv, users had to remove their boot liners to install a custom footbed to begin analyzing their skiing. Carv 2 ditches this hassle, as the device simply clips to the power strap of every boot and you are ready to ski. Carv 2 also features an updated user experience in the app, which you connect to via Bluetooth. Ski:IQ 24 Nevado, as Carv calls it, uses six gyroscopes and an accelerometer to provide the most accurate recognition of your skiing Carv has ever achieved and will also provide you with real-time, turn-by-turn feedback if you are into that sort of thing. If not, the Carv 2 will provide you with just raw data for you to make your own conclusions or individualized tips you can read while you’re on the chairlift.
