While this boot may look hefty at first glance and rises just below the knee, it feels light on foot at just 640 g. But that doesn’t come at the expense of its durability or performance.
Loon’r reintroduces the Hi Flyer with six new updates this season, including a reformulated EVA shell that stays flexible in the cold, is fully waterproof and designed for use down to 20 degrees below zero. The shell of the boot has been updated to resist the parking lot yuck and additional rubber traction on the soles prevents unwanted slipping and sliding.
A new, refined liner made from a soft, brushed synthetic lining and a felt footbed creates a warm, insulated interior. The liner is easily removable and dries quickly if you put it by a heater or fireplace and a Velcro tab on the back of the liner attaches to the inside of the upper cuff. A drawstring and lock on the front of the cuff creates a snug fit for waist-deep adventures.
