The Kilo is an ultralight boot built for the gram-counters out there. As the name implies, it barely tips the scales at a mind-blowing 1,000 grams and is built to explore deep in the backcountry and high in the alpine. The shell and cuff are crafted from Grilamid Bio-Based LF Carbon, with a forged carbon fiber cover for extra stability. This recipe keeps the shell lightweight for smooth navigation of technical ascents, while extra ribbing around the heel ensures power on the way down. The Tilt-Lock Lite hiking mechanism is glove-friendly at the transition and offers a whopping 70-degree range-of-motion as you trek uphill. When it comes time to descend, the Force Closure System wraps the shell up in a tight and powerful package.
Note: This is last year's model and may have limited availability.
