The Ultimate 2026 Hybrid Touring Ski Set-Up
Dec 7, 2025
For those who only see the resort as the starting line, look no further.
Two decades after Flylow was founded—to create a pair of pants that could stand up to the Colorado backcountry—the brand is delivering at the top of its game, and now in partnership with Gore-Tex. Back and better than before, the three-layer Lab jacket and Baker bib now come with the PFAS-free Gore-Tex fabric for even more reliable waterproofing and breathability where it matters most. Built specifically for backcountry pursuits, the new Lab Gore-Tex jacket offers five pockets; two chest, two hand and one internal mesh dump pocket for skins. It also boasts mega-generous, 14-inch underarm vents for dumping heat quickly.Â
Complementing the durable jacket, the bib is reinforced at the cuff and knee to withstand thrashing against ski edges, crampons and running boards. If you prefer to store your avalanche transceiver in a pocket, rather than a harness, the beacon sleeve and loop attachment in the right hand pocket is super slick, and the six other bib pockets create plenty of storage to stash your phone a safe distance away
