Sporting a fresh topsheet design for 2027, the Maven 103 returns with its big-mountain capabilities intact in a lightweight package. These skis are geared toward girls who prioritize turn technique over everything else, which is why you'll see professional big-mountain skiers like Amie Engerbretson gravitating toward them.

As the female complement to Atomic's Maverick series, the Maven line sports the same directional shape and long effective edge as its male counterpart. The lighter weight accommodates smaller skiers while carbon and Titanal stabilize the wood core for a consistent ride, from mellow groomers to steep, off-piste pitches. Due to its modest weight, our testers did note that the Maven can get a little squirrelly on icy hardpack. But pairing this ski with a hybrid touring binding opens up a world untouched terrain if you're willing to put in a little work.

This ski loves to make off-piste, fall line turns. If you like to bounce around the mountain, the Bent 100 will be more your style. But if you want to confidently ski everything from tight, technical trees to wide-open faces, the Maven is your sweet spot.
