Giro's Spherical technology uses a ball-and-socket design to redirect impact forces, providing added protection during crashes. Developed in collaboration with MIPS, the Owen follows the same design philosophy as other helmets in the Spherical line, using two separate liners to absorb and manage energy during a crash. The outer liner rotates around the inner liner, providing additional safety by reducing direct contact between your head and the plastic.
A dial on the back lets you easily adjust your helmet's fit on the slopes, even with gloves on, and when the afternoon sun heats up, a sliding tab on the inside of the helmet lets you open up four vents for added airflow. When it's time to ditch the helmet for après, the easy slide-to-snap buckle system makes it a hassle-free process to put on and take off.
