Much like a knight's protective gauntlet armor, Outdoor Research's new mitt combines Gore-Tex Waterproof breathable technology with a large gauntlet made to take on high-alpine conditions. A cinch at the wrist secures the fit and seals out weather so you don't have to worry about cold air or snow sneaking in.

On long backcountry journeys, the pre-curved fit keeps fingers nimble as you'll need your hands to remain comfortable and functional. A standout feature on this glove is a soft suede leather nose wipe that sits at the back of the thumb so you can easily wipe on the go. While the outer materials fight off the elements, Outdoor Research's Vertical insulation uses a down-cluster structure that retains warmth without the added bulk keeping trips light and warm.

The Velcro closure strap and under-cuff design seal out the cold, while a robust pull-on loop, removable leashes, suede leather nose wipe, touch screen compatible and glove clip are practical additions for ease of use.
