Although Mount Norquay's size and stats don't measure up to its SkiBig3 siblings, Lake Louise and Banff Sunshine, this small but mighty mountain offers more than meets the eye. With just 190 skiable acres accessed by a modest six lifts, Mount Norquay is favored by the locals for its low-key vibes and puckering terrain and 120 inches of annual snowfall that lasts long after the squall rolls through.
Set within Canada’s oldest national park, Banff is one of the most beautiful places on the planet and it also happens to have some of the best skiing in the world. Sitting at 4,537 feet above sea level, this real life snowglobe gets around 30 feet of annual snowfall and boasts one of the longest non-glacial resort seasons in North America, stretching seven months from early November through May.
