2026 FREESKIER Gear Lab Kicks off in Jackson Hole

It's the most wonderful time of the year! You guessed it, the FREESKIER Gear Lab is back in action, and for 2026, we are live from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. JHMR has long been an FS favorite for many reasons: unrelenting terrain, expansive side country, the best vibe in the game... we could go on, but you get the picture.

We've got an expansive lineup of 2027 gear ready to roll and we're stoked to share it all with you. Our fantastic testers are hard at work putting skis, boots, outerwear and more through the wringer. We've brought in rippers from far and wide, with lots of talent from right here in Jackson.

Our time in the Tetons started with cold weather and fresh snow, as we were able to test out planks in great conditions up high. The crew was elated to say the least. We're expecting warming temps in the coming days, with some prime spring skiing on the horizon.

The vibes are high, and to capture the energy, we enlisted the help of photographers Elise Sterck and Keegan Rice, who beautifully captured the first couple days of the '26 Gear Lab. Stay tuned, it's time to pull up the bootstraps and dig in for some bell-to-bell testing... and we wouldn't have it any other way.
