Atomic’s Remedy 130 is unapologetically aggressive. Based on the brand’s Redster race platform and tuned for freeride skiing, this boot caters to rippers who demand premium quality. From the moment you step in, it’s clear this is a serious piece of equipment, and the shell construction drives that identity. Atomic uses a substantial amount of plastic, which gives the boot a planted, confidence-inspiring feel at speed and creates more customization potential for bootfitters, almost a necessity on something this low volume.
The result is a stiff ride that isn’t totally unforgiving. There’s a smoothness to the flex pattern that rewards skiers who drive hard into the front of the boot, with instant initiation and impressive energy retention no matter where you are in the resort.
Atomic also refined the fit around the forefoot and big toe compared to traditional race boots. Pair that with the heat-moldable liner and you get all-day comfort in a boot inspired by notoriously tight-fitting race shells. This isn’t a boot for casual cruising. It rewards aggressive, technically strong skiing and stays stable at speed. For skiers who treat every run as a chance to charge harder and hit bigger features, the
Remedy 130 delivers.
