Your skis can take more abuse in the back of a truck than they do on the mountain. Pondoz built these ski slippers to eliminate unnecessary dents and dings that your precious sticks would otherwise take during transit. Four padded sleeves slide over the tips and tails of your sticks and connect via detachable one-inch nylon webbing straps with shoulder pads for easy carrying.Â
Constructed with a 1000-denier nylon liner, the covers resist abrasion without chewing up your topsheets. They’re wrapped in V-Diamond Tec vinyl that takes the hits from the outside, keeping your edges sharp and protecting the interior of your car. The four-pocket version reviewed here is the twin tip setup, with a slipper for both tips and both tails. Skiers on flat-tailed boards can grab the three-pocket version instead.
