Faction Skis is known for several things: aesthetic prowess, superb skis and an athlete team that could rival the 1992 Olympic Dream Team. It only makes sense that a brand with such a stacked roster would want to highlight their beloved riders. That’s exactly what Faction is doing in their series, “Portraits.” In the series’ first episode, we get a look at the irreplaceable Alex Hall. He has been on freestyle podiums worldwide, hoisting X Games and Olympic gold medals and World Cup Globes alike.

But A Hall is truly respected in the world of freeskiing thanks to his ability to blend the competition world with that of filming. He has created incredible parts in both the streets and the backcountry with MAGMA, the supergroup composed of Hunter Hess and Owen Dahlberg, and had incredible segments in several of the Faction full-length films. He is, in a way, a jack of all trades.

Now, we get a look at his restless lifestyle through this new short flick. Joined by Faction riders Mac Forehand, Blake Wilson and Tim McChesney, we get an inside view at Hall’s incredible career so far, his love for filming, what sets his style apart from the crowd and much more.
