The Ultimate 2026 Hybrid Touring Ski Set-Up
Nov 29, 2025
For those who only see the resort as the starting line, look no further.
This all-new offering brings the trusted downhill performance of the alpine Attack binding and adds the uphill capabilities of a true tech toe. The heel remains the same as the previous Attack 14, giving you excellent power transfer and elasticity. Up front, you get two interchangeable toe pieces: a lightweight tech toe for uphill travel and a full alpine toe for the descent. Swapping between them is easy. No tools required—just slide and click. In tour mode, you get two climbing positions (zero and 9°), an automatic brake lock and an emergency, lockout ski mode. Everything can be adjusted by hand or with a ski pole, even while wearing gloves. The binding is compatible with Alpine, GripWalk and ISO 9523 touring boots. A mix of carbon fiber and eco-friendly plastics keeps the weight down—around 880 grams in tour mode and 1,125 grams in ski mode. Here’s the bottom line: the Attack Hybrid 14 skis like a true alpine binding but gives you enough touring capability to chase the droolworthy backcountry lines you want.
