A pile of dusty old ski helmets is something no one wants to deal with, but Salomon's Bridge Index MIPS changes that as the brand's first fully recyclable ski helmet. It's made from at least 96-percent of materials from the same origin, so when it's time to retire a bucket, you don't have to feel guilty about how you discard it. These materials help keep the helmet lightweight at 485 g making it a good option for those that like catching uphill sunrises at a resort.
The recyclable construction does not come at the expense of protection though. It still has MIPS and is injected with polypropylene plastic for extra defense during big crashes. The helmet has an oval fit offered in small, medium and large sizes. Salomon's 360 fit dial is available on the back, so adjustments can be made throughout the day.
