The Best Ski Jackets and Pants for 2026
Oct 1, 2025
While the Nomad moniker is not a new one from Strafe, the build on this kit is. New this year, the brand has updated the jacket and bib with a new face fabric, fit, and seam lines for better performance all around.
Now utilizing three-layer Pertex Shield fabric, the kit is rated 20K/20K in waterproofness and breathability, while steering clear of harmful PFAS and PFCs. Both the jacket and bib sport a relaxed, freeride fit, with the former featuring two large chest pockets, drop hand pockets, and underarm vents. Five more pockets on the bib provide plenty of space for a beacon, smartphone, snacks, and sunscreen. Strategically located vents hover over the hamstring, and external scuff guards extend the life of the bib far beyond a single season. For those who tend to split their time between the resort and the backcountry, the Nomad kit from Strafe was made to move.
