The Best Ski Jackets and Pants for 2026
Oct 1, 2025
Rossignol
Rossignol’s new Proclivity jacket and bib, available in both men’s and women’s sizing and colors, are the product of the brand’s collaboration efforts with its athlete team. A limited-edition release for 2026, the women’s jacket and bib were developed with close oversight from Olympic Gold Medalist Kaitlyn Farrington, ensuring they not only hold up to the high performance and function standards of freeride athletes, but also check the style box.Â
Both three-layer shells are rated 20K for waterproofness, the entire kit is made of 100-percent recycled polyester and a DWR finish ensures consistent, waterproof performance. On the jacket, a helmet-compatible hood cinches down when the wind starts picking up and extended pit vents provide an avenue for excess body heat to escape. Two oversized hand pockets, an external zippered chest pocket and two internal dump pockets hold your skins or a spare pair of goggles, while the bib’s two thigh cargo pockets, hand pockets and chest pocket all feature beacon loops to allow you to choose where you carry your avalanche transceiver.Â
