Updated in design, the R3 130 now comes with an Ultra-Ride liner featuring the highly sought-after EVA foam. This offers a high-performance fit with incredible heat moldable capabilities in a standard boot oven.
Considered by the brand as their premium freeride backcountry boot, the R3 130 is a modest 1580 g per boot but packs a stiff punch thanks to its full Grilamid construction. The last of the boot ranges from 99 to 101 mm, depending on your custom mold, and strategically placed buckles offer increased range of motion when in walk mode.
The two-piece, hinged, split tongue increases stride range to 52 degrees on the skin track and then locks in for dependable downhill performance. Depending on the terrain, conditions and ski style, the R3 130 also rocks an adjustable flex, with a standard "soft" mode and a more aggressive "hard" mode, making it one of the more versatile boot options for backcountry freeride skiers.
