97-100 mm
Back and better than before, the Recon Team Zonal sits at the top of K2’s Recon collection, stiff enough to handle the brand’s hardest charging athletes like Sam Kuch. An adjustable last from 97 to 100 mm and a dual-BOA system on the upper cuff with a lower shell, deliver a precise fit that secures your foot without crushing your instep or squeezing your calves.
The listed 140 flex and fixed cuff design make this the stiffest boot in the Recon category, built for aggressive freeride skiers who don’t mind touring without a walk mode. Tech toe inserts make it compatible with hybrid alpine touring bindings like CAST and Shift, but at 2115 g per boot, the Recon Team Zonal is not lightweight.
The Intuition PowerFit Wrap liner features a third BOA dial for one of the most precise fits right out of the box, though we always recommend seeing your local bootfitter for any personal adjustments your feet may need. For expert skiers who want a stiff, reliable and comfortable performance-oriented boot, the K2 Recon Team Zonal BOA fits the bill.
