Ikon Pass adds Mt. Bachelor and Windham Mountain for winter 2020-21

In a press release sent today, Alterra Mountain Company announced its Ikon Pass would be getting two new resort additions for winter 2020-21. Starting next season, skiers will now have the chance to travel to 43 destinations across the globe, including Mt. Bachelor in Oregon and Windham Mountain in New York.

Mt. Bachelor, known for its 9,065-foot volcanic peak and 360-degree descents with terrain parks scattered across the mountain, is a staple in the ski community and provides access to more than 4,000 acres of terrain.

“Mt. Bachelor is thrilled to partner with the Ikon Pass and join its growing community of like-minded winter enthusiasts,” said John McLeod, Mt. Bachelor’s president and general manager in the press release. “Outdoor enthusiasts can experience the exhilaration of nature among some of Oregon’s most unique landscapes at Mt. Bachelor. It is a one-of-a-kind adventure for every fan of the outdoors, and an ideal fit for the Ikon Pass.”

Windham Mountain is a regional favorite in New York and, located just two and a half hours north of New York City, a rad spot for East Coast skiers to take laps close to home.

The premier collection of mountains paired with unparalleled pass value is an ideal match with Windham Mountain’s commitment to an ‘above and beyond’ experience for our guests,” said Chip Seamans, Windham Mountain president and general manager in the same letter.

The resort additions will offer Ikon Pass holders seven days each at Mt. Bachelor and Windham Mountain with no blackout dates, and Ikon Base Pass holders will have access to five days at each, with some blackout dates.

For Ikon Pass holders and even locals at both resorts, this means one thing—the potential for more skiing in new destinations—and what’s better than that?
