Lisa Zimmermann, the 17-year-old German freeskier best known for becoming the first female to stomp a double cork 12, has pulled out of the X Games on account of school, she told ESPN today. While she was slated to compete this morning in the women’s slopestyle final, weather forced organizers to postpone the event until Thursday. With an English language exam on Friday, pushing travel beyond Thursday was not an option. Better luck next time, Lisa.
