For some, skiing switch is an all-time goal. For others, it’s second nature. For Quentin Ladame, it’s an opportunity to break a world record. With an average gradient of 52 percent and a max gradient of 98 percent, the piste of Vars at La Forêt Blanche ski resort in southern France is world-famous for speed-chasing skiers–and the perfect venue for the French freestyle skier to test out just how fast he can go while skiing switch.
