Entourage is Aging like Fine Wine with new Film " Too True"

The sixth feature film from Entourage is one you won't soon forget. "Too True" is the product of immense dedication from a group of friends who have poured their all into skiing for several years. They've been traveling the globe and spending every spare hour (and dollar) with the goal of stacking clips and cultivating a deep passion for the sport and culture.

They've succeeded in this mission several times over, climbing the ranks and becoming a staple in today's freeski scene. And with the immense talent out there these days, that shouldn't be taken lightly. While others have found success through specification, diving into one niche and accelerating, Entourage has worked their way forward thanks to the opposite. Their diverse, often eclectic riding works to their advantage, as it sets them apart from the troves of other skiers who only ride street, or spend time specifically in the backcountry.

The fact that many of these segments are a mix of disciplines only gets more impressive as you dwell on it. Watching Daniel Johnson or Jasper Skidmore stomp a natural cork seven and, in the very next shot, proceed to lace one of the most intimidating street features known to man is anything but normal.

Of course, the camera work of "Too True" can't be ignored. No matter the subject or scene, director Jack Price finds the best way to portray it with immense attention to detail. (That includes sound design, a component of this film that is best appreciated with a great audio setup.) Price isn't afraid to mix up styles from one scene to the next, creating a beautiful flow of enjoyable unpredictability that most shy away from.

Perhaps the best part of the film is the innate inspiration it instills. I'd go out on a limb and say that you don't even have to ski in order to like this one. Like all good art, the medium is irrelevant. It's the actual substance, the media, that matters. And it goes without saying that we'll all be better off if Entourage media flows freely for years to come.

From YouTube:

Too True, our 6th consecutive film, would not have been possible without the support of Bozeman, our sponsors, the Reckless Beauty Foundation, and the friends and families that helped along the way.
