A tight line is one thing. This ice cave squeeze is another. The Trew Gear squad recently visited the one and only Blanket Glacier Chalet, located outside of Revelstoke, British Columbia. One of the athletes in attendance was speed demon Dylan Dipentima. If you haven’t seen his fast and furious lines around Jackson, we highly recommend a watch.

But Dipentima wasn’t hunting big open faces on this mission. “After exploring the glacier for a while I spotted this line and decided to give it a go,” he recounted.

“I can’t say for sure if it was a first descent, but a couple of local guides in our group seemed to believe it was. [This line] wasn’t on any kind of list, we were just taking pictures and messing around in the opening of the glacier, and I found this line as the group was leaving… skiing an ice tube inside a glacier wasn’t really on my bucket list, but now that I’ve done it, I highly recommend adding it to yours!”

Check out Dipentima’s one-of-a-kind line in the clip below.
