As a third-generation Chamonaird, Tof Henry was born and raised on the mythical, 12,000-plus-foot peaks surrounding his home in Chamonix, France. Since the age of two, skiing has always been Henry’s biggest passion but when he lost his mother to cancer, something changed. Armada’s Born in Chamonix, directed by long-time ski photographer Daniel Rönnbäck, is the foot-powered life story of the French big-mountain skier, how he copes with loss and the passion he now shares with his own son. Immerse yourself in Tof Henry’s world of high-alpine ski mountaineering and keep a towel close because these lines will have you sweating up a storm.
