If there were ever a production company that embodied the phrase quality over quantity, it would be Caution Media . Josh Fairmont and Ollie Smith have diligently built one of freeskiing's most professional film-creation machines, all while staying true to their roots. The team is now teasing their third ski film, "WHY."

Following in the footsteps of " Whispers " (2024) and " Connected " (2025), the trailer for this upcoming project tells us that we're in for anything but an ordinary movie. "WHY" promises to be an experimental picture that takes us to Japan and Chile, presented in two parts this fall.

And it's not just the cinematography that grabs us. A small but mighty lineup of skiers, the film features Kaz Sosnkowski, Westan Lubin, Dodge Woloson, Tristen Lilly and Ollie Smith in front of the lens. Dive into the trailer below, and be sure to catch "WHY" on tour in Salt Lake City, Utah (10/23) and Boulder, Colorado (10/30) . Stay tuned for the digital release this fall.
