Welcome to FRAMED - The Photo Gallery from FREESKIER Volume 29, Issue 1. Our social media age doesn't always prioritize taking things slow, so every fall we take it upon ourselves to track down the best photography skiing has to offer, so you can take a breath and sit with our favorite stills from last winter.

In this edition, we're excited to feature work from Arttu Heikkinen, Jeff Cricco, Alex Zimmerman, Christoph Johann, Josh Bishop, Tucker Adams and Leon Butler behind the lens. From British Columbia to Japan, to the streets of Finland and the spines of Iceland, enjoy these snapshots of lives lived through the sport and culture we hold dearest.
