The new movie from La Familia, So It Begins, starts with a two minute monologue warning against “repeating the mistakes” of freeskiing’s past. To say that La Familia is opposed to the Olympics is an understatement, and the crew makes no attempts to hide their feelings. “Filmed by us, edited by us, no budget,” it says on the Vimeo page.
