HEAD Goes Off-Script with 2025 Team Film Trailer

The wait is almost over, and not just for winter to start. Head is set to drop the trailer for their third annual freeski film "Out of the Ordinary" directed by Jeff Thomas. Following in succession to films "Beyond" and "Unified," this year’s project takes a different approach; one that’s less of a sequel and more of a detour. This movie promises to chase skiing in its truest, most chaotic form.

From basecamp shenanigans to spontaneous, quick-striking missions and big mountain marathons, "Out of the Ordinary" is a unique take on the offbeat lifestyle of skiers today. Filmed on location everywhere from Austria to Japan, and venturing deep into British Columbia, this film acts as a freeskiing passport to the deepest pow of the year. 

The lineup of athletes is star-studded and global. Freeride World Tour champions Jess Hotter and Hedvig Wessel join Olympic medalists Zoe Atkin and Aksel Lund Svindal with park dominators Jesper Tjäder and Evan McEachran all head up a roster that also includes Sam Cohen, Jordy Kidner, Emil Granbom, Tao Kreibich and more. This diverse roster lets each athlete bring their own flair to the film and make it an extremely well rounded showcase of the Head Tyrolia freeski team.
