Ahead of the 2026 season, the Freeride World Tour has announced that HEAD | Tyrolia will be joining as the Official Supplier of the Tour. The storied brands will be supplying skis, boots, poles and bindings for all FWT staff, ensuring they can safely navigate hazardous terrain from Alaska to Switzerland with confidence.

The recent deal will run through 2028, with HEAD | Tyrolia committing to sponsoring each of the six FWT Pro stops every year. The partnership will kick off at the first-ever FIS Freeride World Championships in Andorra this upcoming February 2026. The event, which will take place at the long-time freeride venue of Ordino Arcalís, will consist of the best skiers and boarders in the world, with each rider getting one run to claim the top spot.

"We are very excited to welcome HEAD as a new partner of the Freeride World Tour," said FWT Founder and CEO Nicolas Hale-Woods in a press release. "HEAD’s expertise, strong activation power, and the high-level quality of products are major assets to support the development [] and ensure the excellence of the Tour."

There are already several athletes on the HEAD roster competing on the Tour including Abel Moga, Jenna Keller and Lena Kohler. Former champions Hedvig Wessel and Jess Hotter have also been long-time members of HEAD's athlete team.

The news comes at an exciting time, as HEAD recently launched its new family of KORE skis for the 2026 ski season. The reconstructed line comes in both men's and women's offerings, and ranges from 87- 118-mm underfoot. We'll be breaking down the ins and outs of this line in our 2026 digital Buyer's Guide, dropping soon.

HEAD also dropped the trailer for their new team film, "Out Of The Ordinary," coming to the big screen this fall. This one's got one of the widest spreads of skill we've seen, with freeride icons like Xander Guldman, Tao Krebich and Hedvig Wessel appearing next to freestyle studs Emil Granbom, Zoe Atkin, Jesper Tjader, Cole Richardson and many more. Don't miss it this fall!
