Inside Fischer's New Ranger 102 LTD Collaboration

We didn't have Fischer x Ford collab on our bingo card for 2026, but we're not complaining! One thing is for sure: the new Fischer Ranger 102 LTD looks as good as it skis.

We've seen some pretty special ski releases this season but the latest Ranger drop from Fischer has us itching for a new pair of planks and some fresh pow. The collaboration with Ford draws your eyes in, but it's the way the 102 performs on snow that we truly love.

The Ranger series is Fischer's flagship freeride collection, taking a semi-directional shape and blending it with an approachable construction. The 2026 Ranger 102 is the most versatile ski of the lineup. The 102 LTD comes in a 183 cm length, with a 19-meter radius and dimensions of 138 x 103 x 128 mm.

Once you put the fierce tiger-striped top sheet on snow, you'll realize it's got everything you need for a solid day on the hill. This ski isn't just for ripping front-side groomers all day. It's also built for sweeping pow turns and stomping cliffs, thanks to a beech-poplar wood core and ABS sidewall sandwich construction that yields a well-balanced flex pattern. Think of this as the Goldilocks of ski flex.

A 132 MM shovel in the tip makes it a blast in the deep end and while a 19-meter turn radius may sound large and in charge, Fischer's Freeski Rocker profile creates a shorter effective edge when compared to a fully-directional ski. As you drive the ski, you'll notice a more intuitive turn that lets you arc or smear with ease; the choice is yours. A 132 MM shovel in the tip makes it a blast in the deep end.

And yes, the Ranger 102 LTD looks as good as it skis

This isn't a mass-produced gimmick. Only 30 pairs of the Ranger 102 LTD have been built and there are still a few available in the aforementioned 183 CM length. If you've struggled to find a ski that balances play with performance, this could be the match you've dreamed of.

For our East Coast friends, be sure to check out the Fischer demo station on the road at the FIS World Cup Finals in Lake Placid, New York on March 18, 19 and 20. And yes, the one-of-one Ford Ranger Raptor will be parked by the tent. You (likely) can't take it for a spin, but you can try out the Ranger 102 LTD along with other members of the Ranger line!
