The 23rd edition of Level 1 SuperUnknown is underway at Banff Sunshine Resort. Due to deteriorating snow conditions, the call was made earlier this month to move the event from Palisades Tahoe. Banff Sunshine has had a historic winter, recording over 300" by March 31, with another 14" just in the last 15 days. Copious snowfall combined with a dedicated mountain ops staff had the resort ready to accept SuperUnknown with open arms at a moment's notice.
This year, Level 1 welcomed a talented horde of new faces as SuperUnknown contestants, handpicked for their outstanding video entries. They also invited tons of familiar pros back, including Jed Waters, Olivia Asselin, Jonah Williams, Pete Koukov, Magnus Graner, Will Wesson, Dasha Agafonova, Joss Christensen and more.
