Lynsey Dyer goes ski mountaineering with "girl crush" Julia Niles

G3 and SCARPA just released the second episode of their Step Outside series, titled Mentors. The short film features one of skiing’s top female athletes, Lynsey Dyer, stepping outside of her comfort zone to go ski mountaineering with IFMGA/AMGA certified guide, Julia Niles, in the Joffre Lakes area—north of Whistler, British Columbia.

A mom of two and one of 50 women internationally to be IFMGA certified, Julia is rightfully Lynsey’s girl crush. “Every girl needs to know that a girl [like Julia] exists,” says Dyer, “because that should be the girl we all want to be like. I do.” These two ladies get after it during their trip, rappelling into lines, rock climbing in their ski boots and having a ton of fun all the while.
