There’s something captivating about “DAQE,” the latest edit featuring Magnus Granér and Noah Albaladejo. Shot in a moody, slo-mo, almost Revenant-esque style by Pablo Varela and the team at Vavisual, the short film starts with some night skiing and immediately showcases the two athletes’ ability to find creative transitions, grind over triple-kink rails and use technical maneuvers throughout the tiny terrain park in Andorra. Transition to daytime, where Graner and Albaladejo open the floodgates with bigger airs, more difficult tricks and swagger to boot.
