Just after 3:00 p.m. MST this afternoon we received word that Sarah Burke sustained a serious injury while skiing in the superpipe at Park City, UT. Burke was treated by medical staff on sight and later flown to the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.
The nature of Burke's injury is yet to be known, despite rumors that have begun to circulate around the web. We'll continue to bring you updates you as we learn more. In the meantime, please send your best wishes and positive vibes to Sarah.
