After a hectic six weeks, with World Cup events taking skiers around the globe and back again, we finally have the official U.S. Olympic Freeski Team roster. Signed and sealed as of January 20, 2026, this crew represents the best competition freeskiers the U.S. has to offer. And when we say it's packed with a stacked lineup, we mean STACKED. You'll have a hard time pointing to another group in the world that can rival the names listed below.
The qualification process is tricky, with just eight men and eight women allowed on the team. The team says that results are primarily based on World Cup results from the current season, spanning October 25, 2025, to January 18, 2026. There is a slight amount of wiggle room allowed, though this is the main selection criterion.
Aside from Alex Hall and Alex Ferreira, who had already qualified thanks to their World Cup rankings, everyone here was waiting until the final minute to see if they had made the cut. Nerve-wracking is an understatement. Impressively, every single woman, with the exception of Marin Hamill, is an Olympic rookie. It's a huge milestone for the rising class of women freeskiers who are defining the next generation of the sport as we speak.
