During Sverre Liliequist’s second big-mountain run at the Swatch Skiers Cup, a large swatch of the mountain ripped all around him. According to KC Deane’s report for Freeskier.com , Sverre was unaware of the danger that was closing in on him.
So he did the one thing every badass big-mountain skier does at the end of his run: he threw a massive backflip over a cliff, nearly landing on top of the slide. He stomped, and rode away with the sketchiest and most exciting line of the day.
