Timberline, the iconic resort on Mt. Hood, Oregon, known for keeping lifts spinning most of the year, has announced a large reduction in pass pricing. The resort is officially rolling back the cost of season passes, offering rates not seen in five years.
With these new prices, an Adult Unlimited Season Pass is just $749, while a Young Adult (ages 15 - 24) Unlimited Season Pass is $499 if bought during September. When purchased during that window also allows you access to the hill from opening day through June 13, 2027. That's potentially eight months of riding, depending on Mother Nature's cooperation.
As is usual with most season passes, the cost goes up as you wait to buy, with $100 added on during October, and $200 or $300 added after November 2, depending on your pass selection. A unique feature of Timberline's season passes, you'll find discounts layered in with your ticket. Get 25% off hotel rooms, as well as daily discounts on lessons, quick waxes, retail, and food.
"Timberline is keeping the focus simple: make it easier to ski more, stay longer, and get more value from every day on the mountain," said Timberline Marketing Director John Burton. "For skiers who make the most of their pass, the per-day value adds up quickly. Ski 20 days and the cost of a Timberline Adult Tier 1 pass comes to under $38 per day. Ski 40 days, and the cost drops to under $19 per day!"
The ski area is a legendary freeski haven, often giving skiers the only chance for park laps and groomer turns during the heat of the summer. That said, there's some great riding to be had during the winter as well, with one of the most consistently creative park builds firing day in and day out.
