Video: Jacob Wester suffers serious leg injury at Mont Blanc, Chamonix

“Two days ago, I was enjoying the beautiful Helbronner terrain on Mont Blanc with my good friends Tof Henry and Mathieu Imbert. After four magnificent runs in the 15-20 centimeters of fresh powder, my left leg clipped a small rock under the snow at high speed, resulting in two bone fractures and possible knee damage. I am currently in a temporary cast while figuring out the logistics of getting an operation and returning home to Sweden for the next couple of weeks,” writes Jacob Wester via his Facebook page .

The gang here at FREESKIER sends positive vibes and well-wishes for a speedy recovery to Jacob.

Note: The crash occurs at the three-minute mark.
