Rob Enigl suffered an L1 T12 incomplete spinal injury that forced him into a sit-ski, but didn’t stop him from continuing to charge on the slopes… The Bozeman, Montana-based skier thrives on skiing steep, consequential terrain because, as he puts it, “when I’m in steep chutes or steep terrain where it’s a no fall zone, my brain shuts off completely and I focus on just one individual thing and it allows me to accomplish way more than I could if I wasn’t in an extreme situation.”
Logan Bonwell put together this inspiring video highlighting Enigl’s skiing, as well as a couple of first sit-ski descents at Big Sky, including the Gullies 2 and 3. Thanks for the inspiration, Rob and Logan.
