First ski descents are often the result of a perfect storm of circumstances. The team is mentally and physically prepared, the weather cooperates and snow conditions must be safe to ski. This past spring, Black Crows skiers and professional guides Christina Lustenberger, Johanna Stålnacke and Tom Grant seized a window of opportune conditions to nab the first descent of the Black Friar couloir in the Adamant Range of British Columbia.
