This is one of those videos that makes you love skiing with all your heart. This winter, Yushi Saito, Gen Sasaki and friends set out to conquer a mind-blowing 50-meter (160-foot) gap in the mountains of Goshiki, Niseko, Japan. Maybe you saw the clips in April, or maybe you've never heard of either one of these badass skiers. Either way, this video is a must-watch.

Over the course of 20-minutes, we get to watch Saito and Sasaki go to battle, with Saito taking multiple gut-wrenching slams in the process. The two warriors don't quit, and despite warming conditions and a distance that's truly incomprehensible, they never stop. (The view from the top of the run-in is one of the more terrifying things I have ever seen.)

You won't find any massive sponsor banners here. There were no big crowds. This is just skiing for the love of the game, with 30-year-old Sasaki eventually putting the quad backflip to his feet. Pure elation. There are several incredible stomps mixed in here, so the entire piece is well worth the watch. Cheers to everyone involved in this wild build for pulling off such a commendable vision.
